The Scottish lowlands around Perth is the ancient homeland of some of my ancestors … especially the Ruthven clan.
Although I haven’t managed to visit this land yet, I still feel my connections to it. The stone shown is Smokey quartz that comes from a hill overlooking a loch in Perth.
It was sent to me some time back.
Now, I believe everything has a spirit and an energy.
Each night, I place my wedding band and the oath rings with my names on them atop this stone so that when I put them on.
They have energy from my ancestral homeland.
And when I need to feel closer, I will sometimes sit with the stone and simply feel its energy with an image of where it came from her my heart.
Other times, I place my oath rings, necklaces and other such on it when not wearing them with the hope they are touched by the energy of that ancestral homeland.
